Help us keep “CC Strong” and BEAT cancer

Our precious mom, Cindy “CC” Saunders was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She is physically weak and carries so much pain, but SO strong and ready to fight every step of the way.
Throughout our lives, we have honored many women and their families by wearing the color pink to support those impacted by breast cancer, but nothing truly prepares you for the day you get a call from your own mother, your best friend, your hero and hear the words, “Sweetheart I have breast cancer”. That “C” word that so many of us fear.
Our mom continues her breast cancer journey after a double mastectomy In November, second surgery in February, and the continued unknown with radiation and other treatments. We know the months to come will be very tough for her, and know how important it is to have your community surround you during these difficult and uncertain times. As you can imagine the financial struggles that come along with this unwanted journey are overwhelming, and that is the absolute last thing we want her to worry about. Our mother has taught us our whole lives that we go through seasons throughout our time here on earth, filled with many peaks and valleys, but no matter where we are in life, we never stop helping one another. And, right now this is our time to help her more than ever. We don’t want her worrying about how she will pay for the ungodly amount of hospital bills she will receive, or where is she is going to live because she can’t work, or wondering how she will be able to keep food on the table, keep her prescriptions filled, and the list continues. This page will help take that financial burden off of her, so she can focus on fighting, recovering, and healing. We can’t lose her!
For those of you who may not know our mom personally, she is the brightest light this world has ever seen, and there isn't one person who doesn't instantly feel loved after meeting her. She has been fighting illnesses since she was a little girl, but choses to wake up every single day with a smile on her face and a "never quit" outlook on life. This isn't the first one she’s had to fight for her life, and it may not be be the last, but chooses to be the love and joy in people’s lives.
With all of that said, the person actually going through it, the cancer patient, the one in so much physical agony that she can barely get out bed most days, OUR MOM, still has that bright light beaming from her and that radiating smile on her face. She holds us close and tells us not to worry. Tells us, “God isn’t finished with my own Exodus walk sweethearts. This is my walk and my destiny, and I will walk through this season and this next chapter with Jesus by my side. He has not forsaken me, and has us in his loving arms. We will beat this sweethearts, and I will fight until the end for you, my girls and my grand babies.”
On behalf of her daughters, we just want to say thank you so much for loving and caring about our precious Mom the way you do, and wanting to help her through this difficult time. The only way we can get through this is with God by our side, and with special people like you who He has woven into her life to show her continued love and support. No words will be able to express our gratitude and appreciation. We pray this is the final step in her complete healing, and know she will never stop fighting until the end. She will BEAT cancer, just like she has conquered so many other things in her life!!
We hope her journey will help those who have already faced this horrible disease, those fighting with her, and those who will be fighting after her, and we promise we will do everything we can to make sure those affected by this kind of cancer or any cancer at all feels loved and supported like you have done for her. We ALL have a walk and a testimony, and the opportunity to help those around us, and THIS IS CC'S UR EXODUS WALK..."GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU AND YOU SHALL HOLD YOUR PEACE."
God bless you and your gracious hearts. Please help us by sharing her story. God is so good, and will never forsake his children. ❤️
