This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Adirondack Art Association. In 1963, a small group of artists from the Essex- Willsboro area formed the Adirondack Art Association to “foster interest in the arts…”. Since the beginning, the hamlet of Essex has been our home base. Being close to the Ferry and a main thoroughfare has kept our gallery a destination for Art lovers and Artists.
We need your help. Your financial support helps us keep the light shining on local art and artists. The more days we can be open, the more art we can showcase and sell, and the more business we can help to attract to our small town of Essex. While we depend a great deal on volunteers, having paid professional staff provides dependable accessibility for our patrons. The funds raised would help us staff the gallery.
Currently, the AAA upholds a mission of good fellowship and social activities among artists and other persons engaged in art in Essex, Clinton, Hamilton, and Warren Counties by featuring rotating fine art exhibitions, musical events, adult and children's art classes, and live artist demonstrations.
By donating to our organization you will be helping people in a remote area stay connected to art, discover new techniques and have an outlet to express themselves around like-minded individuals.
For those of you that would prefer to send a check to help us with our cause please make Checks Payble to Adirondack Art Association and mail to PO Box 51, Essex, NY. 12936
