On March 18, 2023, what was supposed to be a date night with his wife and friends, Tim suffered a horrible medical emergency. While enjoying dinner he choked on a piece of steak. His friends and fellow firefighters who just happened to be there tried to dislodge the steak but were unable to. The local emergency workers came and were able to remove it, but Tim had gone into cardiac arrest and was not breathing. After 10 minutes they were able to get a weak pulse and restart his heart, he was then transferred to the hospital where he is now in the ICU. He was placed on a ventilator and has not had any purposeful neurological movements. The family has decided that it is time to start comfort measures for Tim. Those of you who know Tim know that his family and friends were his priority. He was always there when you needed him. It may have only been a quick chat, help you with a home project, give you a hug, take a crazy road trip or just share a beer and a fire. He would drop everything for a friend or family member in need. Tim's family needs his village now. The medical bills will be enormous and will continue to mount. We would like to take this worry away from his wife, sons, brothers, and sisters so that they can concentrate on healing. Any funds raised will go directly to the family to help support them.
