Jennifer DiPaolo's RIP Funding
Donation protected
Jennifer DiPaolo was born in Bryn Mawr, PA, the daughter of Jack and Judy DiPaolo. Her brothers were Matt (8 years older) and Dan (me; 5 years older). I have created this campaign to raise funds to pay for her final arrangements.
Jennifer passed away on January 3, 2016, 4 days shy of her 46th birthday. Jen had been battling multiple health issues for over 5 years. She had had 3 or 4 heart attacks, 2 strokes, 2 heart ventricular assistance pumps installed (both failed), a partial foot amputation, and a number of life-threatening infections. For the past few weeks she was in the ICU with failing kidneys and required dialysis.
Jen was a tough, stubborn Italian/Irish woman who lived life on her own terms. Her lifetime friends were Jane, Carol, and Suzanne (Felicia), and with her cousin Lisa Willis, her brother Matt and his partner Faith, and me, she received love and support in so many ways it is impossible for me to list them.
Jennifer was a big fan of Philadelphia sports, especially the Flyers when we were kids, the Phillies in 2008 and more recently the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jen hated hospitals, and for good reason. At one point she was a patient at Jefferson Hospital for over a year and ran up a bill of over a million dollars. She was kind of proud of that. That bill was written off by the hospital, but her latest bills might not be. She didn't want to get stuck in one again and I'm sad to say that would not be the case.
Jen was flat broke when she died. Matt and I have no way to pay for her burial. We simply wish to bury Jennifer with Mom and Dad and pay off her outstanding bills. Right now we have no choice but to do everything as inexpensively as possible and we know how much Jen wanted a proper burial so she could be with our parents.
Please help us as much as you can with Jen's final expenses. We know how generous in spirit her friends and family are, and if you want to help Jen one more time, in lieu of flowers please donate to this campaign.
Matt and I are sincerely grateful to all of you. Thanks.
