My Brother's Recovery

On the afternoon of May 13th, my brother's life changed forever. To make matters worst, this day was also his son's birthday. My brother was at home, with his girlfriend, when his best friend came over being loud, belligerent, inebriated & caught up about his personal issues. After being asked to leave because he was being so disruptive, he went to the car, got his gun & returned to the apartment. As my brother was sitting on his bed, his best friend came in, shot him in his hand & put a gun to his girlfriend's head threatening her not to call the police.

The bullet entered and exited the hand & went in to the knee. Now my brother is laying in a hospital bed with a broken hand that had to have surgery & staples in his knee. It is unknown what his recovery time will be for his hand, but it will be at least 10 weeks before he will be able to begin to bare weight on his leg. My brother is unable to work, lost his apartment because of the incident, & needs a lot of therapy for a 100% recovery.

I am trying to raise money to help cover at home physical therapy & occupational therapy, a home health aide, basic necessities, counseling & medical bills.

It is hard to ask for financial help these days, but my family and I are asking for any you can give for HIM. We want him back on his feet and back to the great loving guy that his family, friends, and colleagues know him to be.
