Help For Ashley and Her Family
Ashley, my niece, is just 32 years old and is in the last days of her life. She and her husband, Curtis, have two boys, Xzavier and Bryson (ages 11 and 6). Ashley had been in and out of the hospital for the past year with various health problems, tons of tests and treatments, but inevitability needed a liver transplant. Most recently she was at Mass General where they were working to try to get her strong enough to have the transplant. Unfortunately she continued to face one complication after another, infections, kidney failure, complications with her lungs. She was not able to have the transplant and there’s nothing more that can be done.
Now she’s home, surrounded by the love of her family, but she’s declining rapidly.
I am so saddened for her, she has not lived the life she could have, and is leaving us way too soon. I am devastated for my brother and his wife who are losing their only daughter, and for my nephew who is losing his sister. And I’m heartbroken for her husband and her sons.
Of course along with this loss, her husband’s health is suffering, and the bills are piling up. I’m here doing what I can to help with Ashley’s care and helping everyone cope.I’m asking for your help in providing Curtis with a little extra boost to help with the bills, help them get groceries, and take care of their boys. Please consider giving what you can, even if it’s just $5.
Thank you all for your love and prayers. It means more than you will ever know.
