Vanessa’s Fight

Hello! My name is Jessica and I am Vanessa’s big sister. As you all might already know Vanessa was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Metaplastic Breast Caner. This cancer is rare, spreads aggressively and to top it off, is very chemo resistant.  She just finished phase 1 of her treatment and it didn’t go as well as we hoped. This first round of chemo (Phase 1) was a VERY hard treatment to endure and the tumor only shrunk by 18%. The goal was 70-80%. She is about to enter phase 2 (a clinical trail) of her treatment and we are remaining faithful that this next treatment will completely shrink her tumor. She still has a long road ahead with many phases ahead of her and with COVID running ramped there is not much we can physically do to help her. So how can we help you ask? Well, as you may imagine this treatment is not cheap! I’m starting this go fund me in hopes that we can give her and her husband a little peace of mind by helping her pay a portion of her insurance deductible. My goal is $2500. Any amount you can spare will help. If you just can’t spare anything financially well then a message of love and encouragement will be greatly appreciated as well. I want to thank you personally for all the love that you have shared or will share with my little sister.
