Assist the Gonzalez Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
Our family has endured much tragedy in a short period of time. On November 19, 2024 we suddenly lost our beloved sister Frances Gonzalez. This was a tragic shock to all of us. Frances was 2 weeks away from celebrating her 55th Birthday. Frances was the life of the party, always had a smile on her face and always had something funny to say. But what we all will cherish are her phone calls every day often multiple times a day. Frances battled with a cancerous tumor that was removed in 2013. Because of the location of the tumor in her brain it affected her cognitive thinking. She required much rehabilitation and care Frances is the second youngest of 7 siblings (2 sisters and 4 brothers) with 2 of her brothers in Heaven with her now. Our mother Sarah Gonzalez went home with our Lord 12 years ago, and since her passing Frances lived with our dad Juan Gonzalez. They were inseparable and did everything together.
As you can imagine our father was devastated by the passing of his Mija. Our dad at 82 years old was planning his daughter’s funeral. Although we may not fully understand why she passed we know Gods plans are better than ours. Jeremiah 29:11
Our family gathered with the direction of our dad to plan our sisters’ services. Due to the sudden death, we were not prepared for all the costs involved. We did all that we could including taco donation drive and loans. Much of our family helped with flowers, food and decorations. We are grateful for all their support!
The day of our sister’s funeral we were struck with tragedy once again. our beloved father passed away. It all happened so quickly, starting with abdominal pain that developed to respiratory distress. My siblings and I are devastated, we could not get to the hospital fast enough. The nurse who cared for our father in his last moments said she was praying with him in Spanish. He told her he needed to make sure his Mija was okay. Our Lord called him home to be with his daughter. We believe he passed from a broken heart.
Here we are once again planning arrangements for our loved one. We want to honor our father by laying him to rest with our mother. But we need your help.
On behalf of our family, we are seeking donations to cover the mortuary and burial expenses for our father Juan Gonzalez. We are deeply grateful for any contribution you can make. Your generosity will greatly assist us in honoring our father’s memory and easing the financial burden during this challenging period for our family. Thank you in advance for your support and understanding. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal and helps us move forward with the arrangements.
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty.” Philippians 4:13-14
