Celebration of Life

Hello, my name is Mindy, and I am fundraising for my uncle Keith Auchter.

Keith was born in Puposky, MN, just outside of Bemidji, where he graduated in 1975. Those that know Keith from his younger years know his joy of hunting and trapping. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the army, followed by moving out to California in the late 80's. In California Keith found his love for construction and where he settled down and had two children, Tyler and Brittany. He later moved to the Las Vegas and has lived in the area for years.

In late September, Keith sought medical attention due to coughing up blood. In October, he had scopes, biopsies and testing to understand what was causing the continuation of coughing up blood. The tests in October did not provide answers.

Last week, Keith called for an ambulance because he had been coughing and couldn't breathe. The morning of November 13th, he was told that he was filled with cancer. The cancer had migrated to multiple organs and his bones. The doctors told him he had 3 days to 6 months to live. Keith's brother Lyle arrived this week as Keith's health was quickly digressing.

Keith wishes to be cremated. This GoFundMe will help cover the costs of his family saying their last words, the cost of cremation, and headstone, and helping him become current on this months rent.
