Funds to Volunteer @ Orphanage in Ghana

My name is Haydn Collard and with your help I would like to return to the village of Sang this summer in the Northern province of Ghana to volunteer at the Nazareth Home for God's Children. In rural areas all over Africa children can be castout of their village and subject to ritualistic killing for being labeled as "spirit children". These children are considered witches through no fault of their own for reasons like being born with a deformity, a development delay, disorders such epilepsy or if their mother died in childbirth. There is hope for some of these children though and that is the Nazareth Home. The Nazareth Home is an orphanage that takes in these children and is run by one of the most amazing individuals I will ever meet, Sister Stan.

Last summer, I was granted the amazing opportunity to volunteer at the Narareth Home through the generosity of people just like you! My time spent there consisted of many unforgetable experiences including teaching English to the 4-6 year olds, running errands into the nearest city for food and supplies, watching the children care for each other like the closet of siblings, giving geography lessons to some of the older children, story time under the shade tree, holding the babies every chance I got and falling in love with the children. Please help me conitnue my work at the Nazareth Home this summary.
