They say "Go Big or Go Home!" Well these past few months have definitely topped out the go big meter.
While we were just thinking of getting things back to some sort of normal, my life decided on a sharp left turn, 3 turns actually.
I've been diagnosed with early stage Breast Cancer. Unexpectedly lost my kitty Bailey, whom I thought was going to be here with me through all this, and then even more recently received separate lab results that will result in a total hysterectomy due to precancerous cells as well.
Honestly, it's been a lot and I've still been managing to find reasons to smile even still. I have some of the best doctors, friends and family by my side that anyone could ever hope for. I know I'll have the emotional support I'll need for the days ahead with all of you.
My plan of care is going to be a new road and obviously not the trip I'd hoped I would be taking this summer. With doctors' appointments, MRI & ultrasound, biopsies, lab work, surgeries, radiation, follow up care, possible chemo-TBD after surgery, etc. brings copays, deductibles, and out of pocket expenses. I'm lucky I have insurance now that will help to lower some of the cost however the total expense is currently unknown.
So here I am, asking for anything you might be able to spare for these unexpected medical costs. With these added expenses as well as the potential for reduced wages during recovery times every little bit sure will help.
