Billy has been a counselor and devouted member of the Able to Change Recovery Family here in San Juan Capistrano since 2003.   Despite his hard edge he is one of the most extemporaneous and well spoken lecturers in the field.  I have never witnessed so many newly sober individuals rapt with attention than during one of Billy's booming orations on the addictive brain. 

In his tenure here as an addictions specialist he has made it his life's work to council and save many addicts lives that were lost to addiction.  I can testify to this as he was my primary counselor exactly one year ago when my own life was almost lost to this horrible disease.  Somehow he was able to pull me back from the ledge and redirect my life and for that I will forever be grateful.

He can be considered an expert in the field and generously shares his time and guidance with the next generation of future counselors and therapists.  He also shares ideas and his knowledge with many of the local Colleges as he often lectures to Cal State Fullerton and Saddleback.  

Unbeknowst to him as he embarks on the hardest journey of his life and battles a lifethreatening medical condition, we here at Able to Change have decided to do our best to come to his aid and hopefully get him the help and financial ease he desperately needs.
