Scott Kohn has worked for me for 18 years. He is a hard-working employee and the type of person who goes home and wrenches on cars or helps someone on a house repair.
A few weeks ago, Scott called me and said he finished the project he was working on, but had so much stomach pain that he was going to the hospital.
After several tests, they sent him home saying they suspected ulcers. He got much worse, went back into the hospital and underwent emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. While performing the surgery and getting some of the test results back, they found cancer inside his stomach and suspected cancer on the outside of his stomach. They told Scott that the diagnosis is Stage IV stomach cancer.
He has many more test coming up and is starting chemotherapy.
I started this GoFundMe account to help offset medical bills and the month of income Scott has already lost.
