Last year (2017) Cheryl Berges began having stomach issues and in November she was sent to the gastrointestinal doctor that found a mass after a CT Scan. This mass, we would soon find out, was Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer.
She quickly had surgery scheduled for December to remove as much as they could with Chemotherapy to start in January 2018, while not even fully healed.
The road has not been smooth in her treatments, between initially having a serious allergic reaction and then due to other complications she was hospitalized for 10 days.
Chemotherapy is scheduled to continue through July, but already the bills are mounting beyond what her insurance will cover. She has not yet even received the bill for her recent 10 day hospitalization and the family is worried about how all of these bills will be paid.
