Hello My name is Malachy Hayes from Lough Gur Co. Limerick. I run a busy farm and would be relatively fit. My youngest granddaughter and God child Shauna was born in December 2022 nearly 7 weeks early and went on to spend the first two weeks of her life in neonatal where the staff cared for her so very well. I have decided to run 7km, one kilometre for each week of her early arrival. It will be on Sunday June 23rd 11am, on the grounds of John the Baptist Secondary School. All funds raised will go to Limerick Neonatal Unit in the maternity hospital. They do tremendous work day in and day out looking after vulnerable babies which isn't always easy. Anyone that wants to join me on the run or support me from the sideline is more than welcome to come along. Thanks for your support it is greatly appreciated.
