Support Susan’s Recovery Journey

Dear friends and family,

Update : I am healing well since surgery with the exception of my left arm (two surgeries within 6 days) .  I recently had a CT myelogram performed which showed c5 palsy.  It’s as if my left arm is “asleep”.  Hoping to regain the strength and function back soon.  I just received orders to begin physical therapy and begin that this coming week.  I will know more on the 29th when I have several follow up appointments.  Thank you all for your shares on social media and the donations we have received.  But more than that , thank you for the prayers.  I’m a firm believer in the power of prayer.  Seems like right when the money runs out , we receive a donation.   I am still not receiving a paycheck unfortunately but we are making it !!!! Thank y’all again.  God bless you all.

 

As many of you know, I had spinal surgery recently. Unfortunately, there were complications that resulted in an additional surgery less than one week later. I have temporarily lost the use of my left arm and will be out of work for 6-8 weeks. I have utilized all of my sick time/PTO and do not qualify for donation of sick time. The recovery process will be lengthy, and we all know how quickly medical bills, groceries, and other unexpected costs can add up.

With the support of my friends and family, I am reaching out to ask for help in supporting Mark and myself during this time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated.
