I have always had a dream of a pursuing a career in law, specifically to become a criminal defense attorney and with my senior year approaching I was excited to receive an invitation to participate in the Intensive Law and Trial Summer program at Stanford Law School!
This year hasn’t particularly been the easiest year for me. I was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy and have been suffering from recurrent seizures. It’s been tough, and I wasn’t sure that I would be able to attend the program due to doctors’ orders, but my Neurologist finally gave me the okay to travel and I am beyond excited!!
The program is a two week in depth view of what it is like to be an attorney, I’ll earn college credits and the experience alone will be invaluable.
The program begins mid-July and ANY donation will help me get there. Every bit adds up! Sorry for the late notice but I needed to make sure that I had clearance from my doc before moving forward.
