Volunteering in India

Hi, my name is Emma,
I´m 18 years old and live in Heidelberg, Germany.

I´m currently fundraising to help cover the costs of my volunteer work at Varanashi Organic Farms  in Adyanadka in the state of Karnataka, in southwestern India. 

For 9 months, I will work on an organic farm, learning about the production of manure, harvesting and documenting our progress on their computers. Children in the region will be taught ways to conserve the environment.

 

I´m looking to raise the 250€ a month needed to cover the cost of my room and board and on-site mentoring.

 

I´m very much looking forward to spending so much time in nature and to getting a glimpse into Indian culture.
