Support for Chris

In May 2019, my brother Chris was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma after having undergone surgery to remove both a 4+ centimeter diameter piece from his head and the sentinel lymph node from his neck. The biopsies came back with the unfortunate results of BRAF positive Melanoma. The PET and CT scans show Melanoma in his lymph nodes, chest and lungs.  Chris started Immunotherapy/chemotherapy in July 2019. He has had three of four treatments in which he receives two medications and thereafter, he will receive treatments every month for two years in which he receives one medication. 

Chris is 48 years old. He has a beautiful wife and two adorable teenage daughters, and a loving son and daughter-in-law.  He has a long battle ahead.

I'm raising money because even though Chris has health insurance, it won’t even touch all the out of pocket expenses including his deductible, co-insurance, out of network charges, prescriptions, etc. Chris expects to incur approximately $20,000 out of pocket expenses in 2020 alone, assuming no other expenses come up. This number is on top of the expenses already incurred since May 2019. Chris is working now but if he must stop working his expenses will only increase.

For of those of you that know Chris you know he is a prideful guy, so asking for help is tough.  I’m doing  this for him, as his bossy big sister!!

Please help me, help Chris and his family enjoy life and fight this battle without the financial burden on their shoulders.
