Help for Maya

Last year I lost my first travel ball coach, mentor, and basically older sister Corrine Murphy. After she passed Tara and Braden took in her daughter Maya as her guardians.

For those that don't know Corrine and Maya's story, Corrine had a very long, arduous battle with cancer before she passed. Maya has a rare genetic disorder called Dup15, and though Corrine did and incredible job raising Maya through the struggles that come with her diagnosis, she still requires special care and attention.

Tara and Braden have been incredibly selfless and took Maya in at Corrine's wishes, while having four children of their own. Their kids are 10 and under, including their youngest who is about to turn one.

Through all of this, Tara and Braden have supported their family, including Maya - and at this point, I'm looking to help them in any way I can - which is why I setup this GoFundMe for them.

They would never ask of this themselves, but after lengthy conversations with my best friend, hearing about the obstacles and struggles they have been through over this last year, the least I could do is *something*.

I can't be in New Hampshire to help them, to babysit, or support them - so this is what I landed on to help curb the financial stress that comes with having a child with special needs.

I want to be clear that any donations will be used EXCLUSIVELY for Maya's care. She requires specialists and her care is expensive.
