A cause I care about needs help

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I am riding the equivalent of Lands end to John o Groats but here in the Peak District of Derbyshire. 31 days during January 2021.  I had planned the original for last April. COVID 19 scuppered that. My route would have used a off the beaten path, 1198 miles and 62000ft. A good challenge at the best of times but in winter the weather is going to play a big part.
I have a good friend who was diagnosed when he was 60 but I feel he had the disease much earlier. I have seen how the condition has affected his life. He is still positive and pragmatic even knowing he might not be the lucky one who will get a cure.
