Strength Through Struggle

Hello,

My name is Kristina Lindstrom. I am creating this account on behalf of my son, Corry Bell. On the early morning hours of August 22nd, Corry was in a motorcycle accident. Due to the extent of his injuries, we were then transferred from Unity Point Rock Island, to University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City for emergency surgery on his left arm, on top of a ton of road rash and swelling in other places. While I will not go into detail of the injuries, his recovery time is 6 to 10 weeks, with a lot of PT and OT after healing is complete. As most of you know, Corry's career as a Tattoo artist- Owner of Altered Temple Tattoo, Rock Island, he is unable to work for quite an extended amount of time. I am just going to keep it real here. Bills, even when you're down, will pile up. Not to mention the medical bills also. We, as a family are trying to help as much as we can, and after a family meeting this is one big way that we can. IT TAKES A VILLAGE! We are so incredibly grateful to still have him here with us, and as his mother, you just want to "kiss the boo-boo's" and make them go away. Even at 28 years old.
