Let's help Sammy!

Few things blindside us more than the news that a beloved pet suddenly needs serious veterinary care or surgery. Especially if this pet has already had a number of complicated health issues that tie up a lot of your budget (and aren't covered by Pet Insurance). For Celsea Copas, her sweet and kind Golden Retriever, Samson "Sammy", has been her stability during multiple moves to different cities, a companion during the isolating pandemic and most significantly, a source of happiness during rocky emotional moments in her life. Unfortunately Sammy also suffers from very traumatic and costly seizures - but Celsea worked to get that under control with some medicine and TLC. However, just this week Sammy came down with a new ailment. At only four years old, he stopped eating, drinking and finally stopped walking. Something was not right... so this morning, Thursday, May 13th she rushed Sammy to the Emergency Vet where they found he had an obstruction which required emergency surgery to remove part of his intestines. Without this surgery Sammy might die, but with the surgery Celsea is facing STEEP vet bills and perhaps trading the ability to pay rent for the ability to care for Sammy. Celsea does so much for those around her and is always the first to reach out and help a friend... so it's time for us to help relieve some of the financial burden she's facing. Even $5, $10 or $20 will go a long way to help cover the thousands of dollars of vet bills. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity.
