Celebrating the Life of an Angel 

On the evening of October 1, 2021, God made Darius Jerome Gillus an angel. While his athletic prowess is well known, what may not be as well known is the MVP that he was off of the field. It was impossible for him to not exude positive energy. His spirit and his smile was contagious. His love for his family and extended family was palpable. While we were blessed to share 25 years with Darius, the family and those closest to him have a tremendous void to fill with a loss of this magnitude. 

We would like to properly commemorate the life of an amazing protector, a great friend, and an awe-inspiring human being.
