One badass Mother

At nearly 37 weeks pregnant Tess experienced what is many people's worst nightmare- a severe car accident that not only totaled her vehicle but caused serious injury to her body. Fortunately her unborn child is ok and Tess will recover eventually but the damage caused is not only physical. Tess is a hardworking and committed mother of soon to be three children. She anticipated working until her due date as a critical care technician in one of the area's busiest hospitals. Tess is determined to provide the best life for her children; if you know Tess, you know how many hours and the effort she puts into her job, not to mention making a two hour commute so that she can serve her community and surrounding areas (including her hometown) as effectively as possible. We are as determined to help Tess in her recovery as she is motivated to take care of her loved ones. We would like to accomplish this by helping to alleviate the financial burdens of finding herself unable to work prematurely with a longer recovery time than expected. In addition to missing out on pay checks she was counting on receiving she also is unable to accrue her goal amount of paid time off. Had Tess been able to  reach her own financial goal as expected she would still have to account for insurance deductibles, hospital bills and whatever recovery measures the hip injury she sustained will entail in addition to her planned expenses of maternity leave. Tess will embark on her road to recovery early this week as she will hopefully be able to stave off delivering until she hits the 37 week mark on Tuesday. We would like to give the fund an initial two weeks to see how well we are able to meet our goals. Thank you for your considerations and whatever help we can provide for Tess is welcome.
