As most of you are aware, Lisa has been battling stage four breast cancer for the last year. Up until last week, her health was good and her outlook positive. After a period of memory difficulties and other cognitive changes, she learned that her cancer has spread to her brain with seven lesions showing on the scan. Her doctor immediately started her on a course of whole brain radiation that will last until Friday, August 31st. After that, she will have a brain scan to determine whether or not the cancer is responding. She is unable to work at this time, and friends and family are stepping in to help keep the house running. Any donation, big or small, will help this family navigate the challenges ahead. Lisa is trying very hard to stay positive while friends and family are doing everything possible to support her. Please consider helping this lovely family so that they can focus on Lisa’s health and healing and not their bills and increasing fuel costs as they drive to and from the hospital daily for treatment.
