HEATHERSTRONG

Hello, it's Cassie Heathers pride and joy. It's with great grief and a shattered heart that I need to write this. My beautiful mother left us after fighting for her life this afternoon. I'm trying to puzzle it all together to share with you all she left us all to live the rest of her life smiling as she should. As many of you know, my mother has struggled with an autoimmune disease since she was 3-5 years old. (Chrons). Home schooled and pumped with steroid's she pushed through and birthed me and helped me raise my kid out of the greatness of her heart. A few years back our family has had many scares with bacterial meningitis that attacked her brain and doctors saying she's lucky she's alive and no one's had it twice and lived. My MOM did. She powered through but since then when she gets sick we need to be aware and cautious. My daughter and I have been sick for over a week and treated with antibiotics due to the flu the last week. My mother was about to take me to the hospital two days ago however, today she felt sick. I called the ambulance at 11am. She couldn't breathe and was scared. St. Joes said she had influenza and pneumonia. Gave her a breathing tube and put her 100 percent oxygen however, by 6:30 she STILL wasn't in ICU. I watched my mother get chest compressions every two minuets and the

hospital calling a code blue and my daughter falling to the floor in shock. She fought, and I know she's in a better place however, not a better place for me. My daughter and I aren't ready to accept this and figure out life without our only rock. She kept me sane through my hard times this last year and know I need to keep it moving for her. I hope in this moment you all can find it in your heart to help raise a dollar toward her services as she has no life insurance and us struggling in the the current moment. My mom had a heart to offer everyone and her beautiful caca eyes l'd stare in forever. A laugh that's contagious and an attitude that'll piss you off. Anything will help our family move forward during this hard time we have to endure. I can't say what's going to happen or how we feel in the current moment but just know this has opened our eyes and we are going to stay strong for her and so it for HEATHER.

We are HEATHERSTRONG! I want to keep my mothers lively hood living and celebrate her rather than mourn. I appreciate everyone who has reached out or has tried to but at the current moment I have no words to respond. I will when I'm ready and will share services when they're available.
