Haiti Missionary Trip

For my senior spring break I will be traveling to Haiti for the week to volunteer with the non-profit organization Be Like Brit. This organization is in honor of Britney Gengel, a young woman who traveled to Haiti to help those in need and sadly passed in the 2010 earthquake. In her name, her family built an orphanage home to help all of those affected by the earthquake and are now left without family members and loved ones. During my time there, I will be building a house for a family in need and better yet building relationships with people of the community. 

Be Like Brit's mission is to continue the compassion of Britney Gengel by serving the children of Haiti through sustaining a safe, nurturing home rooted in the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love while developing a sense of social responsibility, community involvement and unconditional love.

With over 60 orphans living in Brit's Home I am reaching out to all of my friends and family to please consider donating to my funds to help these kids in need. Any amount counts towards an amazing cause!!!! All of the proceeds will go directly to bettering the orphanage and help support and sponsor the remaining orphans who have yet to get the help and guidance they need to live a happy and healthy life.
