Hello! My name is Kade. Im a 24 year old student who is also working full time. I live in Dayton, Ohio and also happen to be transgender. I was born female but now identify as male. Being trans has taught me more about myself than any other one thing in my 24 years. It’s crazy to look back at a time when a shy awkward girl was living a life of lies, depressed and discontent. It doesn’t even seem like she was me. I’m a completely different person that I was then, and not because my personality has changed or frankly any body parts, but because I have become so in tune with myself and know exactly who I am and who I want to be. Coming out, although it shouldn’t be necessary, gave me a second chance at life and because of that the LGBTQIA+ community is something ill always advovate for. But even with that being said, I still experince tremendous dysphoria, meaning I am not in tune with my current body parts. This is especially present in my chest region. Having top surgery would aliviate some of those feelings of dysphoria. Ive been saving money in an HSA account for top surgery, but frankly, its just not enough with the young adolense life expenses. This alone is why I am asking for donations. I wish I was at a point in my life where I could pay for this life changing operation myself but sadly that isnt so.
