Hi, my name is Luca and I’m a Cub Scout.

I’m taking on a sponsored conservation challenge to help protect frogs, newts and other wildlife that live around the ponds near my home. I love reptiles and amphibians, and I really enjoy exploring ponds and learning about the animals that live there.

As part of my challenge, I will be helping nature by cleaning up litter near ponds, spotting and recording frogs and newts, planting wildlife-friendly plants, and building small habitat piles where animals can hide safely.

This is important to me because frogs and newts need clean ponds, healthy habitats and safe places to live. I want to do my part to help protect them and look after nature.

I’m also raising money for my Cubs group, which helps us go on adventures, learn new skills and take part in activities that help our community and the environment.
