Supporting the Manuel Family

UPDATE from Ashley:

I wanted to share some photos and a video of our home, it’s just so hard to comprehend that even though the items are there how damaged they are.

Drew and Amelia got home from school to the home smoldering when they opened the doors, they both went inside to try to save the animals, they knew they should not but also could not resist that urge.

I am forever devastated that they have that image to live with. Bless their hearts.

The fire was electrical and started behind our huge saltwater fish tank, they think the fish tank actually helped keep things from catching as fast, but the flames were starting as the kids got home. We think it started to smolder around 11:30-12pm, then everyone got there around 3pm.

We will be displaced for around 6 months. At this time we are at my parents home, still processing if we will continue here or what the exact plan will be for the next few months.

We were able to get some clothing and have been able to get it clean. But anything that has rubber / plastic / wood ect is not able to be simply cleaned or saved it absorbs too much smoke.

Overwhelming is an understatement

Again we greatly appreciate all of the support and love from everyone. ❤️

It is with a sad heart that I have to create this go fund me account for really close friends of mine, the Manuel family. My name is Candace Fazenbaker and I work with Ashley. Over the last year, we have become very close friends. On Monday morning, the Manuel family suffered a terrible housefire, resulting in the loss of five fur babies; Duke, Reese, Rocky, Molly, and Luna. The four dogs and cat were a part of their family that are now no longer walking earthside with us, but will always walk with them in their hearts.

I am creating this go fund me with hopes to help them recuperate their loss from the fire. Unfortunately, it appears that the house needs to be completely rebuilt. They have lost everything, including clothes and belongings. Please consider donating to a fantastic family. If you are unable to donate, we understand completely, and ask that you keep the Manuel family in your thoughts and prayers and surround them with love during this very difficult time. Clothes donations are also very much appreciated.
