In memory of Tom Finnegan

On September 27th, 2015, the world unexpectedly lost an amazing father, person and friend - Thomas Finnegan. There are truly no words that can describe how caring, genuine and selfless Tom was and the void he left behind in the hearts of people he touched.
He had been working nearly 16 hours a day to support his wife Sophie, who is disabled and needs 24 hour care. He woke up at 9pm to work the graveyard as an Airline Mechanic - coming home at 6am to have coffee and then start his 2nd job as a franchise owner of a carpet cleaning business.
Regardless of how much he worked, he always kept an amazing attitude and was willing to help out his wife, daughters and friends. All too often, he would find time even after working a full day to offer help to his family. Whether it was helping Susan and James fix their fridge or their sink; or Katie in researching schools, applying for jobs and preparing for interviews - he truly was a selfless person. His contagious laugh, smile and love for his family truly will be missed as he was a rare and beautiful soul in this world.
* We ask that we come together as family, friends and a community to help Tom's family in this time of need. We want to honor Tom with a proper funeral and will contribute any additional funds to long-term nursing home facilities and medical care for Sophie.
