Help Kimberly Keep Her Home

Hi, my name is Kimberly. I'm a single mom of three beautiful girls. My youngest daughter is in college/nursing school, and I'm trying to juggle all of her expenses and work at the same time. I receive no help from her father.

My daughter is amazing. She finished high school with not only a high school diploma but also with her associate's degree because she took college courses while in high school. Through the years, I have faced many challenges and struggles, including losing a child. I battle diabetes, depression, and anxiety daily.

I don't ever ask for help, but right now, I'm humbling myself and asking. I'm a social worker, so my job—my calling—is to care for others. Now, I'm on the side of needing help. Life right now is overwhelming and hard. Sometimes I feel like a failure for some reason. Between paying tuition, car repairs, and other unforeseen events, I feel like I'm drowning. I'm reaching out to get help with my rent for this month so that we are not faced with eviction. I have nowhere to go if evicted. I just need help getting over this hump one time to reset and get back on track as time is ticking, and every day is stressful to keep getting emails or notifications put on my door.

Asking for help is something I have never done. I've worked so hard to educate myself and have a better life for my family, but right now, I have to let my pride down and ask for help just this one time. I've reached out to organizations and local agencies for help, and there is no funding available.
