Help Gillian save her scholarship

My name is Andrina Gillian Polius and I am 1 of only 2 St Lucians who received an OAS scholarship to do an online Master's programme in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Governance last year. However, this is only a partial scholarship so I would still need to cover some tuition costs. Just as I was about to start the programme last year, my position was made redundant so I could not cover the rest of the fees. The OAS was so confident that I would be a good candidate for this Master's program that they allowed me to defer my acceptance and use the scholarship for this academic year.

 

I applied to this programme and this scholarship because I believe it will be extremely valuable to my career as an insurance professional in St Lucia. I have over 30 years of experience and my passion and drive for insurance has enabled me to get the following certifications and accolades:

Unfortunately, I am still not making a stable income so I am starting this GoFundMe campaign as a last resort to be able to cover the fees and start the programme this year. This scholarship is an amazing opportunity and this is my last chance to do the Master's programme at a reduced fee but I need your help.
