Volunteer Fire Station Upgrades

We are a 100% Volunteer Fire Department located in Nolanville Texas. Though we get a small amount annually ($22,000) to provide all facets of Fire / Rescue and EMS/First Responder services to the City (only accounts for less than 4 square miles), we have about 25 Square miles we are directly responsible for. We are the busiest all VFD in the county annually, and provide 24 hour a day, 365 days a year coverage. It is not your typical Volunteer Responders that have to respond from home to the station. Our building was put up in 1990 with little to no upgrades since then. We average 4 to 6 sleeping here at night, sometimes more. The bunkrooms are so small we can't even stand up all the way. The restroom has a stand up shower and 1 toilet. We have a staff of 36 volunteers, including 8 Jr Firefighters. We are a 501 (c)3 registered Tax Exempt entity, and rely on mainly fundraisers and donations to pay the bills, truck payments, maintenance, etc......
