German Shepherd Rehab/Medical Fund
Donation protected
On April 4th, Animal Control responded to a case of incessant barking at a small house in Southern California. What they found was beyond belief: over 30 German Shepherds (including a pregnant female) had been abandoned, left to die, in squalid and disgusting conditions. Two of the dogs had already succumbed to the horrible conditions by the time the authorities arrived. The remaining dogs were brought to the local animal shelter where they were under threat of euthanasia. Then something incredible happened. Word spread across social media and three rescue groups quickly sprang into action. As of today, all of the dogs have been rescued from death's door. Now the second part of their journey begins: rehabilitation.
Ginger's Pet Rescue is bringing three of these amazing dogs (now named Ranger, Bismarck and Stryder) to Seattle to foster for adoption. Before they can come up, they will require extensive medical care from the neglect they endured. All three are currently with veterarians. 100% of contributions will go directly to the veterinary and transportation costs for Ranger, Bismarck and Stryder. We would love to reach our fundraising goal by May 1st.
Please help us rehabilitate these survivors so that they can find their forever homes and do what German Shepherds do best: love their humans unconditionally.
