Help Jackie Get Back On Her Feet

Mother's Day looked a little different for our momma this year; she spent most of it in the operating room. Sunday morning while at work, my mother was involved in a horrific accident in which she was run over by a vehicle. Her entire pelvic area was shattered, her hip and ankle were fractured, and she is covered in bruises and lacerations. We are lucky she made it out alive! The road ahead is going to be a long and difficult one. She will be wheelchair-bound for the next 8 weeks before she can even start PT to walk again, which can take months to accomplish. While her recovery may prove to be trying, she is one tough cookie and ready for the challenge!

For anyone who wants to reach out, she will be at Memorial Hermann Hospital. With her not being able to walk, much less work, she will be in a tough spot financially.
