As many of you know, dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer early September. While in that very moment, it felt like our world had just fallen apart, we got strength from our family, friends and prayer. In the meantime, he decided to change his diet drastically, go vegan, alkalize his body via diet, and employ herbal supplements in our attempt to strengthen and detoxify his body. Two weeks after, he was seen at Stanford Medical. With faith and courage dad said "No, thank you" to chemo and to the clinical trial they'd offered primarily because he would've had to terminate the the herbal supplements and in his opinion these supplements were "working" as it'd been two weeks that he'd discontinued all pharmaceutical medication. He has decided to continue on this non-traditional path and as his kids we are supporting him. Dad has started a IV therapy in Sacramento consisting on high dose vitamin C along with other nutrients. These therapies have been three times a week. Next week, he will have two more IV therapies composed of sodium bicarbonate. We are excited about the treatment but concern about the financial cost involved as these therapies are not covered by Medicare. Each IV is $200 and in one week we require $1000 for the full five IVs. Many of you continue to pray for dad's recovery and we cannot thank you enough, but we also are eager to provide dad with the IV therapies he needs. The cost of travel and the fees associated have exceeded our ability to provide them. So we have created this GoFundMe account. He is scheduled for another scan at Stanford early December. We are maintaining our faith and want to continue his regiment in hopes that the tumor will have shrunk, but for this we need your help. From the bottom of our heart, we thank you in advance for your prayers and for any financial assistance you may be able to give. I know, without a doubt, dad is going to make it! It's just something we have to go thru. We will come out stronger in our Faith, as a family, and with dad. Thank you friends and family!

Familiares y amigos, necesitamos de su ayuda. Como ustedes ya saben, papá fue diagnosticado con cáncer del páncreas. Este es un cáncer muy agresivo. Papa decidió no tomar la rotura tradicional de la chemoterapia por la razón de que los efectos secundarios a la edad de papa serían mucho más dolorosos y difíciles. Con nuestra fe en alto y con Dios por delante decidimos tratar este cáncer con yerbas y suplementos naturales. Y hasta hoy nos han dado resultado. Hace tres semanas, papá empezó una terapia en Sacramento compuesta de alta dosis de vitamina C tres veces por semana y la semana que viene empezara otra terapia de sodio bicarbonato, por un total de cinco terapias por semana. El costo de estas no es cubierto por es seguro médico. A la semana nos sale a mil dólares. Queremos mucho a nuestro papa y no nos da pena pedir su ayuda si es que pueden.
