Help Find A Cure For Alzhiemers

My name is Adrianka Forrest. In the picture is my loving grandfather, Eugene. Unfortunately my grandpa passed away on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 in the ICU from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s is a none curable disease. It’s a disease that directly affects the brain. In the first few years of being diagnosed my grandfather experienced frequent memory loss and confusion. It slowly got worse and worse as the years went on and by the end of it he lost his ability to speak, feed himself, dress himself, the list goes on. Alzheimer’s takes away a persons quality of life in the span of a few years. It’s incredibly hard to watch a person you love so much deteriorate right in front of your eyes. My grandfather was one of the most amazing people in my life and he didn’t deserve to go out the way he did. He took such amazing care of me and his love for me was infinite. There won’t be a single day that goes by where I won’t miss him. No one should have to suffer through this. Every donation made will be sent directly to the Alzheimer’s society to help researchers find a cure.
