God, this is so hard. I'm dying from end stage liver failure, and I can't work anymore. I have my Social Security check as my only source of income, which is why I have been fortunate enough to have two jobs to add additional income. I need an additional $750/month, which would let me stop working.One of the symptoms of the disease is mental confusion. My bosses have not been made aware of my situation, but they have to be aware that something isn't clicking. If I can leave this stage of my life with a bit of dignity, I would prefer it to being fired, or humiliating myself in front of a customer.If I'm even eligible for a transplant, I would be unable to work for a long time.This is the most awkward, humiliating, difficult thing I've ever done, but I have no options.Thank you for reading this.
