Megan is an 11 year old who was diagnosed with leukemia in early 2015. When asked if there was anything she could wish for, she said she always wanted to own a goforlden retriever. On October 9, 2015, Megan's wish was granted as she was surprised with a golden retriever puppy. Even though Megan's wish has been granted, I feel our work here is not finished. I would like for Megan to be able to take her new puppy, Amber, with her when she goes to the hospital or anywhere she wants to go. In order for this to happen, we need to have Amber properly trained, which unfortunately isn't cheap. Also, Megan's younger brother has mild autism, therefore, I would like for this puppy that was initially for Megan to also benefit the well being of her brother as well. I know with everyone's help, this campaign will not only be a success, but Amber's presence in Megan's family will also be a success.
