American Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer Program

Hi Everyone, this is Camryn,

Please excuse the general letter. As many of you know, I have been studying and pursuing acting here in the Tampa Bay area for the last few years. I have just been accepted into The American Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer Acting program in Hollywood, California. I have been blessed with an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the best schools in the Nation. I will be learning the in's and out's of everything it takes to not only be a successful actor, but to succeed in the industry as well.

This program will last from June 27th to July 29th and the cost of my tuition will be $3,750. The deadline to pay my tuition is a little over 4 weeks away - February 18th. While I continue to work and do whatever it takes to raise as much money on my own - but I need your help in making this final push and crossing the finish line. I have some money saved up but I am short to cover my expenses. My goal is to raise $3000 to cover my flight, part of my tuition and materials.

All of my housing is completely covered by my cousin, the acclaimed actress, Eileen Galindo. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, Eileen is known for her incredible voice acting, and notable roles in film and tv including "Why Women Kill" and the 2021 Academy award nominated short she starred in opposite Oscar Isaac "The Letter Room." She has taken me under her wing and fully supports my journey in becoming an actor.

I have a chance to take a major leap towards making my dreams a reality, and I am eternally grateful for this chance. If you would like to contribute to my fundraiser, know that ANY amount will be extremely appreciated.

A note to all my friends, family, and fellow creatives in Tampa Bay local film - I would not have been able to receive this chance if it wasn't for your unending kindness, guidance, and knowledge. Thank you to all who have taught me important lessons that I will carry with me into my acting career and will hold onto for the rest of my life.
