My sister Allison lives in the Houston Cypress area. If you have been keeping up with Hurricane Harvey, she and her family are situated in the thick of this disaster. The home she lives in with her husband Roger, 10 year old daughter Audrey, and 7 year old son William remained half remodeled as a result of the last hurricane. This was after the contractor took off with their insurance check without ever finishing the work. Their home is underwater again and they have lost all their appliances, furniture, vehicle, family photos...everything. It was report that they have 5 feet or more of water in their home. It is believed to be higher at this time up into the second story or higher. They are staying with a friend and need all the help they can get to get back on their feet.
