Money for my Top Surgery!

Heyo!

 

My name's Nic. I'm a transguy trying to raise money for my top surgery! Unfortunately, I'm not able to get insurance to cover the surgery cost (and going to college in this economy is super expensive) and need help raising funds.

 

This surgery is something I've been looking forward to for over half a decade. The euphoria of binding for the first time and finally seeing my chest flat shined a light on what I wanted for myself in the future. Now, after years of waiting along with being over a year on testosterone I'm one step closer. Not only will I finally be comfortable in my own body but also be able to participate in activities that I've been limited in due to binding (running, swimming, fencing, theatre). I can't wait to be able to perform on stage or go out on runs again without this weight on my chest holding me down.

 

In terms of specifics for the surgery, I’ll be receiving a bilateral mastectomy from Dr. Lorelei Grunwaldt. She’s a brilliant surgeon and her and her team are extremely nice and accommodating people! 

 

Any money, no matter how small the donation, would be greatly appreciated. If you can't do that, sharing it around to others and getting the word out would be great! Because I wasn't able to raise the funds by the initial date, my surgery is now scheduled for November 30th and I'm hoping to get all the funds in by early November.
