Surgery for Crixus

This is Crixus. He is our well loved and furriest child. Our clan adores him and he is a large piece of our hearts.
Crix recently has been seen by two different vets and has had the same diagnosis; TPLO surgery ( Tibial- plateau- leveling osteotomy) which is a common surgery preformed on dogs to stabilize the ACL ligament , which Crix has completely torn. He has a surgery date planned for August 7th, and the cost we have been quoted is between $5,500-$6,000 plus tax and medications after surgery.
All the donations and funds given will be going directly to the vet for surgery cost as well as medications.
We will always keep everyone updated on how the funding is going and when surgery happens, how Crixus's recouping process is going.
Crix is a new 6 year old boy and has two young skin brothers whom he is teaching and loving with all he has. A lot of you know Crix and his impact so far for our oldest son. We have had Crix since he was just wee and he means the world to our family. We look forward to the upcoming years he will have with us.
