Piecing together my life after a loss.

My mother died, recently and suddenly, which has left me at quite a loss.

I myself have lived with her all of my life and was not expecting, nor really ready for the sudden fact that I am now in charge of my own finances and all. Thanks to the help of my older brother and family, we've gotten most things settled. There are, however, some very intimidating costs we've run into and I need help.

The first big issue we've run into is, due to the fact that my mother was simply not very financially capable, a bank balance of $-1000.

Then there is the issue of getting propane for the hot water at home, which with the first filling and the deposit I need to pay due to having no past credit, is going to run me $600.

The last issue is rent. I am able to pay our owed back rent due to government help, but the help does not apply to the late fee which is a smaller $45 but still not something I can handle right now with all the other costs I am facing.

We've been without hot water for a few months, and honestly been in dire straights. Things seemed like they were about to get better when she unexpectedly passed, so now I am left in need of help.
