Hello everyone on June 21, 2017 while battling the "Golden Fire" near Edgewood, New Mexico our brother and local firefighter of Santa Fe County Fire Department , Edi Marquez age 22 was on the front lines of the flames and sustained serious burn injuries while attempting to construct saw line to contain the fire and keep it away from homes on the mesa nearby. The family as well as the Santa Fe County Fire Department would like to ask for your donations & support as well as prayers for this young man and father, who dedicated his services to his state & community not only by fighting fires since he was 19 but assisting in medical calls as a volunteer out of agua fria station 61 as well. We all would like to thank you deeply for your services and pray for a speedy recovery Mr. Marquez
