Wyatt Williams

Before December 21, 2018, Wyatt was a very happy energetic 13-year old that loved basketball, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler, playing with his friends on PS4 and hanging out with his school mates.  On December 14, 2018, his life changed. He did not feel well and called me to get him from school, I was thinking it was just the flu again, I was wrong. On December 21, 2018, we received the diagnosis that our Baby has CANCER, LEUKEMIA to be exact and life as we knew it changed.  We went from going to Band Concerts, Basketball Games and Riding 4-Wheelers to checking into the hospital for days, having blood/platelet transfusions and going to weekly clinic appointments. He was a happy go lucky child and now days he barely wants to leave the house.  

We went from a two-income household to one.  Because I had just moved school districts, I did not qualify for the Family Medical Leave Act, I was told to report back to work, or they would terminate me from the company.  I was terminated. Currently, we are still having weekly appointments to receive treatment and doing everything in our power to help keep his spirits positive.
