SilverLox Films has several short films and feature scripts in development so any  support is an investment in this independent  start-up film company committed to producing work by Diverse Writers, Actors, Directors and Producers.

The Mussurana is a tale about a very skilled martial artist trained to be the bodygurad of his adopted mother, the assassin Rose/Madam Fiero, since he was a young boy. The main character, Mussurana,  runs into an issue the day Rose tells him that her biological daughter is coming to take revenge on her for unknown reasons and he is not to be involved. We explore Mussurana's inner journey with Rose's request through flashbacks of pivotal moments within his life as he waits patiently for this prodigal daughter to arrive. What is a Mussurana? Literally the mussurana is a genus of snakes that specialize in ophiophagy, i.e. they attack and eat other snakes.

Mussurana has only known fighting. He is a fighter who has never backed down from a fight, but is now told to do that very thing: Stand down.

This is fantasy meets martial arts similar to Kill Bill, The Matrix, The Prodigal Son, The Last Dragon, Big Trouble In Little China, and Dragon Tiger Gate.

Why we need to raise funds:

We have an incredible Cast and Crew all of whom have collectively won awards for achievements in filmmaking, theatre and music including NAACP Theatre awards and our composer has won a GRAMMY!  Please take a moment to peruse our demo reels below.  We are seeking investors to cover the cost of professional rental spaces for the sets for fight scenes, expenses to cover the rehearsal spaces for our actors and action stars so that insurance is covered for fight choreography and rental of equipment for special effects, costumes and sound editing, etc.

We  started shooting principal photography in June 2016 and our goal  is get this film out to film festivals by the end of this year.  Thanks in advance for helping us reach our goal of $7,000.
