6 friends taking on Tough Mudder on the 15th July to raise money for Derian House

A word from Sarah, Tilly’s Mum:

Our family have been under Derian House since 2018. Our big girl Tilly became seriously ill in 2017 so, we were referred. It felt like a blow to the belly to have a child poorly enough to receive hospice care but it's not like that when we're there. It feels happy and we can make great memories there as a family. We use the sensory room, cinema and hydro pool. We have overnight respite, where Tilly has a break from our chaotic house and her noisy sisters. We also have a little downtime ourselves too. The support we receive from Derian House is invaluable to us and every other family with them.

We assembled 'Team Tilly' to give back to the places who have looked after us during our hour of need, now it's time for us to raise some funds for Derian House. We might be a little bit mental but we're doing this Tough Mudder for families like ours. Families who have upside down lives like ours. Families whom just sail this ship of complex life and try to keep it afloat with the help of places like Derian. Please dig deep while we all try to stay alive round the course. Let's go Team Tilly, this challenge is much smaller than what Derian families face most days but its the best way we can raise support! Pray we don't break our legs, or arms too!
